Mammoths lived from the Pliocene epoch (from around 5 million years ago) into the Holocene (about 4,500 years ago).  Some have speculated that the spread of advanced human hunters through northern Eurasia and the Americas might have contributed significantly to their extinction.

This puzzle is packaged in a reusable burlap bag. He has been precision cut from 3/8" (9.525 mm) stock and his joints are machined very tightly to insure that the puzzle will free stand and not fall apart easily.
